1. Properties
48# Gelcoat is a reactive fire-retardant polyester gelcoat. It has excellent fire retardancy (high oxygen index, low smoke density), mechanical properties, application properties, and water resistance. It is recommended for the manufacture of lifeboats, train spare parts, and other FRP products. It is suitable for spraying or hand lay-up.

Application
- Cure-system: Cobalt type accelerator, MEKP
- Application:
- Temperature of workshop, raw materials, and mould should be above 15°C and relative humidity below 70%;
- Spraying or hand lay-up.
- Note:
- There are transparency, white, and other varied colors, referred to RAL color card.
- Colour gelcoat is promoted.
3. Package, Storage & Transportation
- PACKAGE: 20kg pails
- STORAGE: maximum of 3 months under 25°C in shade
We provide small samples free of charge, but you will need to cover the shipping costs.
We have our own technical department. After you test the sample, please provide us with your detailed requirements. We can adjust the resin accordingly to enhance the properties of your finished products.
Honestly, it depends on the quantity. We will do our best to create a production plan based on your estimated time of arrival (ETA).
For the first trial order, we require 100% payment upfront. For subsequent orders, we ask for 30% payment in advance and 70% payment after the buyer receives the B/L copy. We also accept L/C if needed.
