ALITA 1506G – High-Performance Resin for SMC/BMC Molding

Principal Properties & Application:

ALITA 1506G resin is an unsaturated polyester resin primarily composed of phthalic anhydride and neopentyl glycol. It has high viscosity and reactivity. This versatile resin exhibits fast thickening, good flowability, and produces smooth, glossy surfaces. ALITA 1506G resin possesses excellent water resistance, heat resistance, high mechanical strength, and good electrical properties. It is widely used in SMC/BMC (Sheet Molding Compound/Bulk Molding Compound) molding for electrical components, industrial parts, sanitary ware, automotive parts, and more. Ideal for compression molding, this resin ensures superior performance in various applications.

Note:
The casting fabrication method is conducted in accordance with GB/T 8237-2005. The curing system consists of a promoter (0.6% Co Naph) and a curing agent (Butanox M-50: 1.0%).
The post-casting treatment involves subjecting the castings to room temperature for 24 hours, followed by heating at 60°C for 3 hours, and finally at 120°C for 1 hour.

Usage instructions:

    1. ALITA 1506G resin does not contain wax, promoters, or thixotropic agents.

    1. To ensure the storability of SMC/BMC materials, it is necessary to add stabilizers during production.

Handling and Storage:

This resin contains ingredients which could be harmful if mishandled. Contact with skin and eyes should be avoided and necessary protective equipment and clothing should be worn.
Drums – It is highly recommended that all material is stored at stable temperatures below 25°C (77°F). Avoid exposure to heat sources such as direct sunlight or steam pipes. To avoid contamination of product with water, do not store outdoors. Keep sealed to prevent moisture pick-up and monomer loss. Rotate stock.

How can I get a sample?2024-07-17T06:56:11+00:00

We provide small samples free of charge, but you will need to cover the shipping costs.

Are you able to adjust the formula to meet our requirement?2024-07-17T06:59:11+00:00

We have our own technical department. After you test the sample, please provide us with your detailed requirements. We can adjust the resin accordingly to enhance the properties of your finished products.

What is the lead time for mass production?2024-07-17T07:00:10+00:00

Honestly, it depends on the quantity. We will do our best to create a production plan based on your estimated time of arrival (ETA).

What are your terms of payment?2024-07-17T07:01:14+00:00

For the first trial order, we require 100% payment upfront. For subsequent orders, we ask for 30% payment in advance and 70% payment after the buyer receives the B/L copy. We also accept L/C if needed.
