ALITA 262 – Ideal Unsaturated Polyester for Pultruded Grilles and High-Performance Composites

Principal Properties & Application:

ALITA 262 resin is an unsaturated polyester resin based on phthalic anhydride as the primary raw material. Featuring low viscosity and medium reactivity, ALITA 262 resin offers exceptional rigidity and minimal deformation, making it ideal for the pultrusion process. This resin is perfect for producing pultruded fiberglass products, with a particular emphasis on pultruded grilles, as well as fishing rods and tent poles, through continuous pultrusion. Its superior properties ensure high-performance pultruded composites suitable for various demanding applications.

Note:
The casting method is performed according to GB/T 8237-2005, curing system: promoter 0.6% Co Naph 1.0%, curing agent Enox BPO-50F 1%;
Casting: 4mm thick, post-curing conditions are: room temperature × 24h, 60℃ × 3h, 110℃ × 2h.

Usage instructions:

1. ALITA 262 resin does not contain wax, accelerators or thixotropic agents.
2. The recommended curing system for extrusion process is: BPO curing agent 0.5-2.0%; TBPB curing agent 0.5-1.5%. The actual selection should be based on specific equipment, products, process temperature, extrusion speed and other factors. When extruding thick products to reduce shrinkage, it is recommended to add a low shrinkage agent.
3. For higher heat resistance and seawater resistance requirements, it is recommended to choose m-phenylene type ALITA 239 resin; for higher corrosion resistance requirements, it is recommended to choose epoxy vinyl type ALITA 901 resin.

Handling and Storage:

This resin contains ingredients which could be harmful if mishandled. Contact with skin and eyes should be avoided and necessary protective equipment and clothing should be worn.
Drums – It is highly recommended that all material is stored at stable temperatures below 25°C (77°F). Avoid exposure to heat sources such as direct sunlight or steam pipes. To avoid contamination of product with water, do not store outdoors. Keep sealed to prevent moisture pick-up and monomer loss. Rotate stock.

How can I get a sample?2024-07-17T06:56:11+00:00

We provide small samples free of charge, but you will need to cover the shipping costs.

Are you able to adjust the formula to meet our requirement?2024-07-17T06:59:11+00:00

We have our own technical department. After you test the sample, please provide us with your detailed requirements. We can adjust the resin accordingly to enhance the properties of your finished products.

What is the lead time for mass production?2024-07-17T07:00:10+00:00

Honestly, it depends on the quantity. We will do our best to create a production plan based on your estimated time of arrival (ETA).

What are your terms of payment?2024-07-17T07:01:14+00:00

For the first trial order, we require 100% payment upfront. For subsequent orders, we ask for 30% payment in advance and 70% payment after the buyer receives the B/L copy. We also accept L/C if needed.
